Went on an old nature hike in Western WA in Olympic National Park at
Hurricane Ridge. Late August was a great time to be there as the weather
was optimal. Gotta laugh when you’re in a protected habitat at how the
wildlife could care less that you are five feet from them. However it is
really sad when a hiker was killed near Hurricane Ridge last month by an
aggressive mountain goat that had a pattern of bad behavior and was only
being tracked by the DNR instead of being “taken care of”… More to come

I caught this 7×7 on camera chasing a smaller 6×6 and a spike bull away from his
